Have just been down at the wee shop and saw the proposed development. Did anyone else just find out about this?

At a glance it looks ok but why the need for 2 football fields?

Does anyone have any more info on this?

hello, saw it at the shop as well which was the first time I heard about it. I agree do we need 2 football fields? Could one area not be used for a kids playing are with picnic benches?

I just heard about the big meeting about this in the church hall, didn't know anything about it!

I must wander around with my eyes shut, I never see any information like this until its too late!!! We're on the Main Road so have a big interest in this from a drainage/flooding point of view.

I agree with the above comment, is there a real demand for 2 football pitches?

Are there really 44 kids wanting to regularly play football in Langbank?

Is there a possibility that it may attract people from further along the railway line from the east?

Will it be safe for kids to get to under the railway bridge from the Main Road (seeing as there is no pavement and a blind corner)?

Is it a real priority while the Main Road is in a terrible state of repair and could do with some traffic calming measures to stop cars and buses doing 40+ mph constantly?

isitaye?

In my opinion this should be the main focus for any improvements in the village. What happened to the community policeman who was going to be doing random speed checking? I've yet to see any police presence in the village relating to speeding on the main road.

EDIT: The biggest culprits are young mothers in their 4x4's - you know who you are.
